PROJECT
City living requires careful renovations in response to existing surroundings, which often include limited access to sunlight. When a couple made the decision to retire to this 1,600 square foot home in the Marina neighborhood of San Francisco, their most important goal was an airy, sunny kitchen for informal entertaining. Borrowed light from an internal courtyard spills into the open kitchen and dining room, and new bathrooms add luxury and modern finishes to the home.
