PROJECT
While California is known for its Mediterranean architecture, it can be a challenge in the chilly San Francisco fog to recreate the atmosphere of warm climates and coastal breezes that the Mediterranean home is meant to evoke. The renovation of this dark 2,500 square foot 1920’s home required new windows and doors to let in more sunlight and to draw attention to its historic architectural features. Contrasting dark accents highlight the light and airy palette of this home’s interior finishes and furnishings all carefully chosen by Kathleen Bost Architecture + Design.
